Fixturlaser GO Basic


The Fixturlaser GO Basic comes with high tech hardware and software, and many functions to increase user friendliness. The Fixturlaser GO Basic delivers live values and icon-based on-screen guidance. As with all the other Express Alignment systems, the Fixturlaser GO Basic uses the innovative and remarkable Express Alignment measurement units that will save the user a lot of time in completing precision alignments.

Shaft Alignment

Horizontal Machines

The GO Basic measures the need for horizontal alignment, but its real power is in helping correct misalignment. The dual sensors allow the GO Basic to maintain the true position of the shafts, even as unintended movements are experienced during the alignment process. The benefit of this “true position sensing” is that it allows the user to complete the alignment using a Verti-Zontal™ move, adjusting in both the vertical and horizontal planes without re-measuring between moves. A Verti-Zontal™ alignment is a great time saver since alignments can usually be completed in just one or two tries.

The GO Basic also comes with a number of utility software programs to make the alignment process easier. These include Softcheck™ to control for soft foot conditions and Target Values, which automatically adjusts the readings to compensate for pre-determined alignment targets based on thermal growth data.

Vertical Machines
The same power and ease of use is offered in an application for the alignment of flange mounted machinery.


Soft Check™
The Softcheck™ routine helps control for soft foot conditions. The GO Basic allows the user to go directly from Softcheck™ to measuring shaft alignment.
Target Values
Allows the system to compensate for pre-determined alignment targets. The user can establish targets using this function and then go directly to shaft alignment.
